Information is not matter, but it can be conveyed through matter. There is no evidence yet that information can evolve or improve through mutations.

A copy error, also known as a point mutation, occurs once in 10 billion characters. And each human DNA sequence contains about 3 billion genetic characters.

Genetic experiments on bacteria, plants and animals are increasingly revealing that different species are more hybrid than we once thought. This means that instead of just the species simply passing down its separate lineage, it is exchanging and crossing with other evolutionary branches. The result is a bush of life that is much more complex than the so-called tree of life.

People did not evolve from apes
